Job summary

fal is seeking an Infrastructure Accounting Lead to own compute cost accounting, including GPU capacity, cloud commitments, and data center investments. You will build AI-driven workflows to automate reconciliations and monthly closes, translating contracts and invoices into accurate entries and providing clear insight for GAAP reporting.

The role requires 8+ years in progressive accounting, preferably at tech firms, and a CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably at a technology company (cloud infrastructure, SaaS, or AI strongly preferred).
• A builder mindset that enjoys automating reliable, scalable processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a changing business environment.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own compute costs accounting, including GPU and cloud commitments.
• Build AI-driven agents and automation to streamline close, reconciliations, and data workflows.
• Translate contracts, usage data, and invoices into correct accounting entries.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and Engineering on commitments and vendor data.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and policies for compute accounting.
