Job summary

fal is building the infrastructure for generative AI at scale, and this role leads the accounting for our largest cost base: compute. You will own GPU, cloud, and colocation spend, automate workflows, and ensure accurate vendor accounting while partnering with Finance, Operations, and Engineering.

You will drive depreciation, asset capitalization, and ASC 842 considerations, while building scalable AI-enhanced processes that support growth and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in tech or cloud infrastructure environments.
• Experience translating complex technical data into clear accounting guidance.
• Ability to build automated, reliable, scalable processes for compute cost accounting.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders on technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting for fal's compute costs, including GPU, cloud, and data center spend.
• Develop AI agents, scripts, and automated workflows to maintain accurate, timely compute accounting.
• Translate contracts and usage data into correct accounting entries and insights for gross margin.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and Engineering to ensure audit-ready processes and policies.
