DLA, LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to join our Accounting Advisory team in a hybrid role. You will tackle high‑impact client projects, strengthen reporting, and address complex accounting matters within a collaborative, entrepreneurial advisory firm.

Your work will cover technical accounting research, GAAP, financial reporting, and SOX compliance, with opportunities for professional growth and client interaction across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 3+ years of accounting, audit, or advisory experience.
• Public accounting experience (Top 15 firm preferred; Big 4 a plus).
• CPA license or progress toward certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and technical accounting research.
• Experience with SEC reporting, financial statement preparation, or internal controls/SOX a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, client‑focused mindset.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and common financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Researching and advising on technical accounting topics (GAAP, financial reporting, SEC matters)
• Assisting with financial statement preparation, disclosures, and audit readiness
• Supporting internal controls and SOX compliance initiatives
• Preparing clear, client‑ready technical memos, analyses, and presentations
• Collaborating with client stakeholders and internal teams to resolve accounting issues

What You’ll Bring
