DLA, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager – Accounting Advisory to join its Accounting & Financial Operations team in a role that blends leadership with hands‑on technical accounting and financial reporting. You’ll lead engagements, mentor staff, and work closely with Partners to deliver high‑quality client outcomes.

In this hybrid position, you’ll guide complex accounting matters, prepare GAAP disclosures, and support SEC filings while growing the practice and client relationships in a people‑first,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification required.
• 10+ years of accounting or professional services experience.
• Experience in middle‑market or PE‑backed businesses.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting, financial reporting, audit readiness, and IPO readiness engagements.
• Advise clients on complex accounting matters and new accounting standards.
• Prepare and review GAAP financial statements, disclosures, and supporting workpapers.
• Guide clients through SEC financial reporting and filing requirements.
• Manage engagement delivery, competing priorities, and hands‑on technical accounting execution.
• Develop team members through clear direction, coaching, and constructive feedback.
• Support Partners with client relationships, business development, and practice management.
• Improve processes and develop scalable solutions that support practice growth.
