Job summary

D-Wave is seeking a Staff Technical Account Manager to lead technical engagements with North American customers and support integration and deployment of quantum computing solutions.

You will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers identify use cases, solve complex problems, and achieve adoption of our platform. Expect collaboration with sales, product, and services teams and 30%–50% travel.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Optimization and Operations Research
• Hands-on Python programming experience in an enterprise environment
• Experience communicating complex technical content to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with logistics, manufacturing, pharma, fintech, or education sectors is a plus
• Project management experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Present the product to customer prospects and map value to challenges
• Translate the company vision and roadmap to executives and technical stakeholders
• Deliver technical presentations at events and webinars
• Support marketing by hosting webinars and representing the company at events
• Maintain long-term technical relationships across project lifecycles
• Identify and propose new projects leveraging D-Wave solutions
• Provide expertise on quantum optimization and industry trends
• Advocate for client needs to product and development teams
• Communicate requirements clearly across platforms and audiences
• Travel 30%–50% for conferences, meetings, and training
