Job summary

D-Wave Systems Inc. is seeking a Staff Technical Account Manager with strong optimization knowledge to drive technical engagements with North American customers. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, helping identify use cases, solve complex problems, and enable successful adoption of our quantum computing solutions.

Collaboration with sales, product, and services is essential. You will present to executives and technical teams, deliver webinars and conference talks, and advocate for client needs

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Optimization, algorithms, or Operations Research.
• 2+ years hands-on Python programming experience in an enterprise environment.
• Experience communicating complex technical content to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to build long-term technical relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements with North American customers and support quantum solutions deployments.
• Translate customer needs into product requirements and advocate for client needs.
• Deliver technical presentations at conferences, webinars, and industry events.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and services to ensure value delivery.
• Identify new projects and opportunities that broaden adoption and ROI.
• Build and maintain relationships across the project lifecycle with customer teams.
• Support professional services by discovering and scoping engagements.
• Travel 30%–50% to conferences, meetings, and events.
