Job summary

Gwinnett County Public Schools is seeking a Technology Support Tech III for IT Customer Service and Support in Suwanee, GA. You will provide Level 1-2 on-site tech support for hardware, software, networking, AV and classroom devices across schools, documenting issues in the incident system and escalating when needed.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving and the ability to train users, with a background in Windows environments, Active Directory and enterprise ticketing tools.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Georgia driver's license.
• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years' experience in troubleshooting and supporting LAN/WAN with Windows and AV peripherals.
• In lieu of 5 years, 1 year with BA degree or 2 years with CompTIA A+ and Network+.
• 310 characters max.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 on-site setup, configuration, repair and support for hardware, software, basic networking and AV devices.
• Respond to incident reports promptly and record issues in the ticketing system.
• Isolate LAN/WAN issues and escalate as needed to level 2 or vendors.
• Maintain inventory and ensure devices are ready for online testing as required.
• Collaborate with school administration and IT teams on technology initiatives.
