Job summary

Dell Technologies in Draper, UT is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our Solutions Support as a Service team for PowerEdge XE servers. You will resolve complex customer issues, document progress, and collaborate with Engineering to drive product reliability.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of tech support experience, Linux experience (RHEL/Ubuntu), and strong communication skills under pressure. A Bachelor’s degree is desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Dell PowerEdge servers and XE line.
• Linux troubleshooting in RHEL/Ubuntu environments.
• Experience with diagnostics utilities and their application.
• Customer-facing experience in high-pressure settings.
• 3–5+ years in technical support.

Responsibilities

• Own technically sophisticated customer-reported issues from web, phone, chat and email.
• Document progress and communicate timelines to customers.
• Coordinate with Engineering, SE and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Provide information to Engineering to improve product quality.
