Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is seeking a Technical Support Engineer, MI — II (Tier II) to provide remote support across Synapse products for HCUS customers. The role requires handling complex issues, documenting steps, and adhering to TAC escalation processes.

Occasional after-hours work, overtime, and short-notice travel may be required. The position emphasizes time management, strong communication, and cross-functional collaboration within a global imaging leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Trade School Certification, or equivalent experience.
• Industry certifications in Microsoft, VMware, or Cisco preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, networking, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work fast-paced, team environment and make independent decisions.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of Linux architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Remotely troubleshoot and resolve Synapse issues and alarms with timely responses.
• Handle 3rd party hardware, software, and network issues related to FUJIFILM offerings.
• Collaborate with peers and leaders to solve complex technical problems.
• Document troubleshooting steps and follow TAC escalation process to move cases up.
• Escalate to the next level engineer as needed.
• Promote well-documented cases for Knowledge Base articles.
• Maintain expert knowledge of medical imaging products and related tech.
• Communicate clearly with customers and document interactions in cases.
