Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is seeking a Lead Project Team Support Engineer to provide remote technical, applications and system support for HCUS customers and units. You will collaborate with the TAC and other business units to manage complex projects, document processes, and mentor team members.

This role requires after-hours work, on-call rotations, and occasional short-notice travel to support customer systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, Trade School Certification (Industry related), or comparable education and work experience.
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of industry experience.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, excellent phone manner.
• Ability to achieve results and meet goals in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to make independent decisions based on interpretation of technology data and product knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows OS, networking, SQL Server and/or Oracle.
• Advanced knowledge of current network technologies.
• Advanced knowledge with Synapse Radiology and Cardiovascular application.
• Advanced knowledge with clinical data transfer protocols and interfaces (HL7 and DICOM).
• Advanced knowledge of Medical Informatics Solutions (VMware and Storage).
• Advanced knowledge of Storage Architecture (EMC, NetApp, Pure, Nexsan).

Responsibilities

• Operate with little supervision and make decisions to resolve customer issues.
• This engineer will take ownership of situations in the absence of management.
• This engineer can guide the Support team in the absence of management.
• Collaborates with peers and Lead Team on solving complex issues and documenting processes.
• Mentor teammates to support growth across the organization.
• Use FUJIFULM resources to identify known issues.
• Escalate issues per SLA and TAC processes.
• Collaborate with other units on escalated cases and security projects.
• Manage hardware requests through TAC with other units.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for remote hands and other services.
• Train other units on backend applications managed by the project team.
• Maintain expert knowledge of current medical imaging products.
• May serve as Project Team Shift Lead for supervisory decisions.
• Handle customer calls and document interactions in cases.
• Cross-functionally collaborate and take on assigned duties.
• Monitor project communications for accurate statuses.
• Perform data collection for revenue purposes.
• Maintain yearly goals and team metrics.
• Occasional overtime, on-call rotation and short notice travel as needed.
• Adhere to quality and regulatory requirements, and company policies.
