Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Technical Service Engineer III to provide expert-level support for customers using Cell Sorting and spectral flow cytometry. You will collaborate with researchers worldwide to optimize instrument performance, using remote diagnostics and strong communication.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with flow cytometry, troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, and can work across a multi-user lab environment.

Qualifications

B.S. strongly preferred (or 3+ years hands-on cell sorting experience).
3+ years with Thermo Fisher Life Sciences instruments or similar tech.
Experience in a Flow Core Facility or Shared Resource Laboratory is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with hardware/software/optics.

Responsibilities

Provide expert-level service for Cell Sorting and spectral flow cytometry equipment.
Collaborate with researchers, field teams, and R&D to optimize instrument performance.
Diagnose issues remotely using diagnostic tools and perform root-cause analysis.
