Job summary
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Technical Service Engineer III based onsite in California to provide expert support for cell sorting and spectral flow cytometry instruments. You will work with researchers worldwide, performing remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintaining instrument performance while collaborating with field teams, R&D, and customers.

Qualifications
- B.S. or higher in science/engineering or 3+ years hands-on experience with cell sorting instrumentation.
- 3+ years of experience using or servicing Life Sciences instruments similar to Thermo Fisher Scientific.
- Hands-on experience with cell sorting and spectral flow cytometry; multi-user lab environment desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support for customers using cell sorting, spectral flow cytometry, and related instruments.
- Perform remote diagnostics and troubleshoot instrument performance across regions.
- Collaborate with researchers, field teams, and R&D to optimize instrument setup and data acquisition.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and manage multiple priorities.
