Job summary

Zoom’s Website Engineering team is seeking a hands-on Technical SEO Leader to own the SEO foundation across Optimizely, WordPress, and modern frontend frameworks. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical SEO, web engineering, or related discipline with a track record leading initiatives for large-scale sites.
• Deep expertise in crawlability, indexation, rendering, canonicalization, redirects, URL architecture, XML sitemaps, robots directives, structured data.
• Proven experience improving web performance and Core Web Vitals, diagnosing JS execution, rendering, caching, and CDN issues.
• Experience building scalable SEO capabilities across Optimizely and WordPress; hands-on in CMS/codebase configurations.
• Strong understanding of Schema.org, JSON-LD, semantic HTML, and AI/search readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical SEO roadmap across Zoom's global web ecosystem.
• Translate SEO/AEO requirements into designs and production implementations across CMSs and frontend frameworks.
• Own crawlability, sitemap, canonicalization, redirects, and URL architecture implementations.
• Build reusable SEO capabilities and automation to reduce manual intervention.
• Drive Core Web Vitals and performance improvements (LCP, CLS, INP) across sites.
• Develop automated testing, monitoring, dashboards, and CI/CD gates for SEO quality.
• Establish technical standards for SEO across platforms and provide governance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align search strategy with business outcomes.
