Job summary

Capital One in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Manager, Tech Risk & Analysis to partner with senior technology leaders. You will design and govern AI-enabled risk programs, lead risk assessments for large-scale architecture changes, and drive governance across platforms and cloud services.

You will influence enterprise policies, report to executive leadership, and coordinate with Engineering, Data Science, Legal and Compliance to strengthen the company’s technology risk posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• 7+ years in technology engineering, architecture, or risk management.
• Master’s Degree in IT or Cybersecurity preferred.
• 8+ years in Risk Management in Tech/Cyber/InfoSec preferred.
• Cloud experience with AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Professional security or risk management certifications.

Responsibilities

• Act as Strategic Risk partner for senior technology executives.
• Assess security, reliability, and resilience of platforms.
• Lead risk assessments for large-scale tech changes.
• Develop risk strategy and lifecycle management for technologies in scope.
• Synthesize risk profiles for executives and Board Committees.
• Influence enterprise policies and controls across teams.
