Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Full-stack Engineer to lead a portfolio of risk-focused tech projects, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions across Java, Scala, Python, Go, and front-end stacks.

You will collaborate with product and architecture teams, deliver cloud-native solutions on AWS, and guide multiple Agile teams while focusing on high reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; minimum 6 years of software engineering experience
• At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• At least 3 years of people management experience

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices
• Mentor engineers and participate in code evaluation when needed
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions for large-scale risk management
• Define multi-year technology roadmaps and drive strategic investments
• Lead multiple Agile engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery and high quality
