Capital One seeks a Senior Manager, Full-stack Engineer (PL) for Risk Tech in McLean, VA. You will lead multi-team efforts in distributed microservices and cloud-native systems, delivering high-impact risk solutions while mentoring engineers and shaping technical strategy.

You will collaborate with product managers, architectures, and platform leaders to align roadmaps with business goals, driving implementation across Java, Scala, Python, Go, and TypeScript stacks in AWS environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
3+ years of people management experience.
3+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers.
Mentor engineers and participate in code evaluations as needed.
Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions for broad user bases.
Define multi-year technology roadmaps and investment priorities.
Develop and manage lead engineers and succession plans.
