Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation is seeking an Infrastructure Analyst IV to lead resilience and recovery initiatives across on‑prem, hybrid, and cloud environments. The role provides expert guidance, conducts disaster recovery plan reviews, and collaborates with Technology, Business Continuity, and Risk to strengthen recoverability of critical systems.

The position involves designing recovery exercises, executive-facing reporting, and mentoring junior analysts while delivering practical recovery

Qualifications

Eight years of combined education and/or experience with at least six years in technology infrastructure or related fields.
Expert-level experience with disaster recovery and technology resilience program execution, plan reviews, and exercise design.
Experience evaluating cloud/hybrid platforms including Microsoft Azure, with awareness of architecture dependencies and recoverability.
Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to present to executives and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead resilience and recovery planning for critical and non-critical systems across on‑prem, hybrid, hosted, SaaS, and cloud environments.
Perform expert reviews of technology recovery plans and supporting evidence for completeness and feasibility.
Design, coordinate, and evaluate complex disaster recovery and resilience exercises; report results and drive improvements.
