Job summary

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division seeks a Senior Technology Resilience Analyst to strengthen recovery readiness and align technology recovery with business impact expectations. The role emphasizes Technology Impact Assessments and collaboration with technology, product, cybersecurity, and crisis management teams.

The position requires extensive experience in BIA/TIA concepts, recovery planning, and validation activities, with a hybrid work arrangement across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in technology resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, Technology Impact Assessment, or an equivalent combination.
• Strong understanding of BIA and TIA concepts, including RTO/RPO, recovery sequencing, and resiliency gap identification.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. No relocation is offered; reside within 50 miles of Beachwood, OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA, or Raleigh NC.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update technology resilience and BCDR program artifacts, including BIAs, Technology Impact Assessments, recovery plans, runbooks, RTO/RPO targets, service ownership data, and dependency mappings.
• Lead and support Technology Impact Assessments to identify critical dependencies that support essential business processes.
• Translate business impact requirements into technology recovery expectations, including RTO, RPO, and recovery sequencing.
• Assess technology recovery capabilities against business impact expectations and standards to identify gaps and risks.
• Plan, design, and execute technology resilience validation activities such as tabletop exercises, runbooks, and recovery rehearsals; define objectives and criteria.
• Author and maintain assessment materials, recovery checklists, and evidence templates; support remediation tracking for identified gaps.
• Liaise with application, service, product, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business owners to validate recovery procedures and ownership rosters.
• Coordinate with Crisis Management, Communications, Legal, and other stakeholders to integrate technology resilience requirements into escalation and recovery processes.
• Manage third‑party technology continuity considerations by integrating vendor dependencies into assessments and plans.
• Measure and report program health, including assessment completion, plan coverage, test results, and time‑to‑recover metrics.
• Train and onboard recovery participants and stakeholders on BIA/TIA expectations and recovery documentation.
