Shield AI is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to partner with senior recruiters and sourcers, supporting software engineering and defense-tech initiatives across Autonomy, Robotics, Embedded Software, and related domains in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of recruiting experience, strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills, and the ability to manage multiple open roles across complex searches.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of recruiting experience, preferably technical.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior recruiters to support hiring for software engineering and related roles.
• Manage candidate pipelines from outreach through interview stages.
• Conduct recruiter screens and assess candidate fit and motivations.
• Build strong pipelines for difficult-to-find technical talent with sourcers and recruiters.
• Support proactive sourcing and candidate engagement across aerospace, defense, robotics, autonomous systems, and adjacent industries.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to resolve blockers and maintain pipeline momentum.
• Maintain ATS accuracy and high-quality candidate experience throughout the process.
• Develop understanding of software engineering roles and talent markets to inform strategy.
• Leverage recruiting tools and AI to improve efficiency while personalizing candidate interactions.
