Shield AI is seeking a Senior Executive Sourcer to lead highly specialized talent discovery for aerospace, autonomy, and advanced hardware programs. You will develop precise sourcing strategies, leverage AI tools, and partner with recruiters and engineering leaders to build strong pipelines of top-tier engineering talent.

You will own market intelligence, engage passive candidates, and craft scalable sourcing processes that drive strategic hiring across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical sourcing experience in aerospace/defense/autonomy or related fields.
• Proven ability to map markets and generate candidates for highly specialized roles.
• Deep expertise with modern sourcing tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, SeekOut, ClearanceJobs, GitHub).
• Experience partnering with recruiters and engineering leaders to influence strategy using market insights.

Responsibilities

• Own the top of funnel by defining target profiles and data-informed strategies across multiple technical disciplines.
• Map the market to build landscapes by company, skill, geography, and org structure to guide recruiting and planning.
• Generate and engage passive candidates using advanced search techniques and diverse channels.
• Build proactive pipelines with long-term relationships for just-in-time hiring on strategic programs.
• Leverage AI to scale sourcing with automated workflows, research agents, and analytics.
• Create repeatable sourcing systems including market maps and outreach content for TA teams.
• Serve as sourcing SME to coach teams on market insights and AI-enabled recruiting methods.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Ops, Employer Brand, and Engineering leadership to optimize processes.
