Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to orchestrate the full-cycle recruiting for engineering, ML, AI research, and other technical teams in the United States. You will own searches across AI researchers, ML engineers, software engineers, and infrastructure roles, partnering with hiring managers to translate complex requirements into effective sourcing strategies.

The role combines strategic partnership with hands-on sourcing, end-to-end interviewing, and data-driven process

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, especially for technical roles.
• Proven track record recruiting AI/ML/engineering talent.
• Experience sourcing passive candidates from top tech firms and labs.
• Translate complex technical requirements into practical recruiting strategies.
• Strong sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, communities, referrals, and events.
• Experience partnering with senior engineering and research leaders as a trusted advisor.
• Excellent candidate assessment, communication, and offer-closing skills.
• Comfort managing multiple specialized searches in a fast-moving environment.
• Hands-on, collaborative approach to recruiting support and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own full recruiting lifecycle for technical roles, from intake to closing.
• Recruit across AI research, ML, software, and infrastructure roles.
• Partner with leaders to define role requirements and hiring strategies.
• Build pipelines via research, outreach, referrals, and creative sourcing.
• Understand our technology and goals to communicate work credibly to candidates.
• Evaluate candidates for technical alignment, motivation, and fit.
• Advise teams on market conditions and compensation strategies.
• Create structured interview processes to support consistent decisions.
• Deliver high-touch, transparent candidate experience at all stages.
• Maintain data in Greenhouse and improve recruiting metrics.
