Job summary

RW Thrive is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive technology and software initiatives, delivering strategy-to-execution with clear ownership and milestones. You will coordinate with leadership, internal teams, and external vendors to keep projects on track and deliver measurable results.

This role involves establishing governance, managing release gates, and ensuring accountability across programs, with the ability to navigate complex environments and scale delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressive experience managing complex technology, software delivery, or enterprise programs.
• Experience managing action registers, backlogs, or delivery tracking systems.
• Experience running release-readiness or stage-gate processes with exit criteria.
• Experience reporting program status, risks, dependencies, and delivery confidence to senior leadership.
• Proficiency with SQL or strong spreadsheet/BI skills to analyze program data.

Responsibilities

• Translate leadership priorities into executable program plans with owners, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and target dates.
• Build and manage integrated delivery schedules across multiple programs.
• Own the action register as the single source of truth for commitments.
• Lead delivery governance cadence, monitor progress, and escalate risks.
• Define and manage release, decision, and delivery gates with clear criteria.
• Provide portfolio-level oversight of priorities, risks, and dependencies for leadership decisions.
• Evaluate resource capacity and adjust allocations to support delivery commitments.
• Establish and maintain program management standards, processes, and reporting.
• Provide functional leadership to PM resources and promote delivery excellence.
• Coordinate launch, release-readiness, and go-live activities.
• Develop and maintain evidence-based program reporting using SQL, spreadsheets, and BI tools.
• Continuously improve delivery processes, risk management, and accountability.
