Yahoo Holdings Inc. in Reston, VA is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager (Finance) to join the CTO Transformation, Strategy & Operations organization.

You will lead cross-functional technology programs at the intersection of technology, finance, and operations, translating ambitious initiatives into executable plans with measurable outcomes. The role requires systems thinking, collaboration with engineering teams, and the ability to drive cloud cost optimization, automation, and governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience leading complex, cross functional technical programs.
• Demonstrated ability to understand system architecture, dependencies and delivery risks.
• Experience working directly with engineering and technical teams to drive plans and outcomes.
• Strong judgment and communication skills; ability to operate through ambiguity.
• Experience partnering with Finance or FP&A on technology budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, investment planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross functional technology programs from strategy through execution, including defining scope, sequencing work, milestones, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
• Support financial strategy and operational planning initiatives for the Central Technology org, including cost transparency, budgeting, and resource efficiency analysis.
• Partner with Finance, FinOps, Engineering, and Infrastructure to identify and execute cloud cost optimization opportunities and drive savings.
• Drive operational excellence by developing scalable processes, governance, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows using AI-enabled solutions and process automation tools.
• Translate initiatives and roadmaps into clear execution plans, business cases, and measurable outcomes for technical and executive audiences.
• Support strategic programs across Central Technology including cloud migration, enterprise systems transformation, and workforce optimization.
