Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Technology Portfolio Governance to own planning, governance, and demand intake for the Global Technology Organization.

You will partner with TPMs, Product/Delivery Managers, Engineering, Finance, and vendors to keep demand, capacity, and reporting accurate. The role emphasizes turning portfolio strategy into efficient processes, with hands-on experience in Jira, JPD, and Clarity, and a proven track record in enterprise-scale governance within retail

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in technology portfolio governance or similar.
• Strong Agile and quarterly planning experience.
• Hands-on Jira and Jira Product Discovery, plus Clarity proficiency.
• Solid project management fundamentals across multiple streams.
• Knowledge of Capex/Expense budgeting and funding ceilings.

Responsibilities

• Support annual and quarterly planning by consolidating portfolio demand, capacity, and baselines.
• Own the demand intake process with clear scope, funding, and guardrails.
• Own demand-capacity planning and reconciliation across teams to close gaps.
• Manage resource planning across MSP and non-MSP, onboarding into Clarity and Jira.
• Maintain Clarity data hygiene and audit cadence, fix root causes.
• Track vendor/MSP utilization against capacity ceilings and flag risks.
• Govern managed services vendor timesheets and allocation with standards.
• Provide training materials and office hours for TPMs and Eng teams.
• Produce portfolio reporting and assist with leadership readouts.
