Job summary

Dayforce seeks a senior Lead in Technology & Operational Risk to translate real-world signals into measurable enterprise risk insights. You will work across Product, Platform, Cybersecurity, and Operations to ensure risk ownership remains with first-line teams, advancing ERM from narrative reporting to signal-driven insights.

You will develop KRIs, engage with risk councils, and drive modernization of risk practices, aligning governance with regulatory expectations across global operations.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of progressive experience in technology risk, operational risk, or enterprise risk management.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms, operational resilience, incident management, observability, reliability engineering.
• Experience translating complex technical concepts into business-relevant risk insights for senior leaders.
• Knowledge of KRIs, risk taxonomies, control environments, risk appetite, and second-line governance expectations.
• Ability to develop metrics, dashboards, and risk signal models from operational activity.

Responsibilities

• Translate real-world technology and operational signals into measurable enterprise risk insights.
• Develop and enhance Key Risk Indicators using signals from system performance, availability, incidents, recovery, changes, and capacity.
• Partner with Product, Platform, Cybersecurity, IT Operations, and Incident Management to validate risks and ownership.
• Connect incidents, resilience gaps, and performance signals to enterprise risk reporting and scenario analysis.
• Integrate ERM processes and tooling with operational and engineering data sources.
• Participate in risk councils to challenge assumptions and surface dependencies for executive discussions.
• Support enterprise-wide risk initiatives across global financial and technology operations.
