Job summary

University of New Hampshire (UNH Innovation) seeks a Senior Technology Licensing & Commercialization Manager to advance university research and IP toward practical impact. You will independently manage a portfolio from disclosure to licensing, startup formation, and post‑transaction stewardship, partnering with faculty, inventors, and industry.

You will lead outreach, develop strategies, structure deals, and coordinate with legal and finance while reporting to the Director of Technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, law, technology, or related field.
• At least five years of relevant experience in technology transfer, licensing, commercialization, or business development.
• Strong written, oral, analytical, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects, deadlines, priorities, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate invention disclosures for commercial potential and develop pathways.
• Lead licensing negotiations and manage related agreements.
• Develop industry partnerships and outreach plans.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and faculty on portfolio management.
