Job summary

Structural Integrity Associates seeks a Senior Technical Leader/Manager for Steam Turbine Generator to guide high-impact client work and lead a specialized engineering team. You will influence strategy, mentor engineers, and expand differentiated consulting services in energy reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; PE registration in one or multiple states valued.
• Significant experience in steam turbine generator engineering, rotating equipment, or power generation asset integrity.
• Expertise in life assessment, fitness-for-service, root-cause failure analysis, fracture mechanics, creep, fatigue, thermal or stress analysis, or finite element analysis.
• Demonstrated success leading technical projects, developing teams, and guiding multidisciplinary engineering efforts.
• Strong client-facing consulting skills and ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SI’s recognized technical leader for steam turbine and generator engineering, asset life assessment, and integrity consulting.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of steam turbine generator engineers.
• Guide strategic consulting engagements to extend asset life, improve reliability, and support risk-based decisions.
• Provide technical direction for advanced evaluations using fracture mechanics, creep, fatigue, thermal and stress analysis, and FEA.
• Shape deliverables, proposals, reports and recommendations with high technical credibility.
• Build client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and expand SI’s presence in the steam turbine generator market.
• Collaborate with engineering, nondestructive examination, materials, and business development teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
