Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC is seeking a qualified field engineer to join our power generation services team. The role involves troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of turbine and generator equipment, with project management responsibilities and strong customer interaction.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Engineering and at least five years of Power Generation experience, plus a valid driver’s license and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Five years of work experience in the Power Generation industry.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing Steam/Gas turbine and generator equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair on designated equipment.
  • Completing preventative maintenance and field modifications.
  • Lead engineer overseeing the entire scope of the project, including project management, site safety, oversight of labor and job financials.
  • Maintaining customer service logs, internal service records, and final reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintenance and knowledge of proper use of tooling.
  • Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
  • Calibrating tools and test equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (OSHA 10/30 and others).
  • Collaborating with the team to provide efficient service delivery.
