Job summary

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced Consultant in turbomachinery structural design and analysis, focusing on gas/steam turbines. You will deliver advanced thermal and structural analyses, develop CAD/FEA models, and drive lifecycle evaluations with digital twin concepts.

Lead projects, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and advance AI-enhanced engineering methods. Eligible candidates have 10+ years in the field and a strong OEM/independent service background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in turbomachinery structural design/analysis or field service support.
• Experience with gas or steam turbine design and equipment evaluation.
• Proficient in 2D/3D modeling of rotors and blades using CAD software.
• Strong in FEA with ANSYS/Abaqus; experience in thermodynamic/CFD tools.
• Ability to lead analyses, interpret results, and provide practical recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills; capable of automating processes via AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced thermal and structural FEA on turbomachinery components.
• Develop detailed CAD models of rotors and blades for analysis.
• Conduct ASME code evaluations and ensure design compliance.
• Create analytical digital twin models for performance and lifecycle assessment.
• Integrate thermal/CFD results into structural FE models.
• Lead client communications and present engineering findings.
