Bank of America is seeking a transformational Senior Technology Leader to define and drive engineering for global payments data and analytics platforms. You will lead architects, engineers, and product owners across geographies, shaping strategy and delivering AI-enabled insights to boost growth and operational excellence.

Role requires strong executive presence, broad domain knowledge, and a proven ability to partner with product, risk, and operations to realize business value.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of technology leadership experience leading large global teams.
• Deep knowledge of global payments, treasury services, cash management, liquidity, receivables, and transaction banking.
• Experience leading analytics, BI, data engineering, and AI/ML teams with measurable ROI.
• Expertise with modern data architectures (data lakes/warehouses, streaming, cloud-native analytics).
• Experience managing enterprise data products and data sources.
• Knowledge of Data Fabric, metadata, observability, quality, lineage, governance-as-code, AI analytics.
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid architectures.
• Hands-on understanding of distributed data platforms, real-time processing, APIs, event-driven architectures.
• Experience modernizing legacy platforms and driving cloud transformations.
• Experience establishing enterprise data governance and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develops the engineering approach for the program/portfolio solution and enablers.
• Leads planning, definition, and design of complex features spanning teams.
• Leads technical oversight, design reviews, and code within own domain.
• Defines the technology tool stack within approved technologies.
• Explores state-of-the-art tech to improve testing, QA, and release management.
• Leads end-to-end test strategy and cross-team integration for the program/portfolio.
• Accountable for engineering approach for Global Payments Insights and BI.
• Acts as a go-to reference across the organization for engineering excellence.
