Job summary

Aurora is hiring a Senior Staff Technical Lead Manager for Hardware Test Infrastructure to lead reliability testing across multiple labs and sites. You will oversee a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors, ensuring hardware components meet automotive-grade standards under demanding field conditions.

This role requires strong leadership, hands-on testing expertise, and cross-functional collaboration with facilities, supply chain, and hardware design teams.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of hardware design principles and reliability testing methods.
• Hands-on experience with HALT/HASS, vibration, thermal cycling, and humidity.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated test equipment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Experience managing people and lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors across multiple shifts.
• Oversee hardware reliability testing for 10+ modules and manage 4 labs across 2 sites.
• Establish SOPs, safety protocols, calibration, and maintenance schedules.
• Partner with facilities, supply chain, purchasing and hardware design teams.
• Support RCCA processes for component failures during testing.
