Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to lead hardware/software integration and bring‑up programs for driverless trucks. You will partner with software, firmware, hardware engineering, and operations to plan and deliver software for new hardware platforms from conception to on‑road.

The role requires travel and close collaboration across multiple teams to ensure timely program execution.

Qualifications

Experience as Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, or Engineering Manager in autonomous systems or software development.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Information Systems or related area.

Responsibilities

Drive planning and delivery of software for hardware/software integration programs.
Facilitate executive program reviews with stakeholders.
Develop detailed engineering plans for bringing up software to enable new hardware platforms.
Coordinate with Hardware Product and Engineering teams to align software requirements with architecture.
Engage Vehicle Operations teams for bring-up, testing, and deployment of new hardware platforms.
Provide feedback from operations and reliability to improve products and processes.
Identify and remove blockers to maintain momentum and balance priorities.
Collaborate with industry hardware partners on Driver Kit components.
