Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead Technology Leadership Professional to drive software and hardware delivery and performance across multiple Scrum teams. You will translate business needs and architectural direction into executable solutions while ensuring quality, reliability, and timely delivery.

You will lead complex issues, collaborate with architects, product teams, SRE, security, and other technology groups, and champion AI-enabled practices to boost productivity and software quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering or related field
• 2+ years of project leadership experience
• 5+ years of experience with technologies used in the application or infrastructure
• Experience with unit testing and mocking
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively and present to senior leaders
• Advanced experience leading special projects with metrics, measurements and trend reports
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and championing responsible AI adoption
• 5+ years of experience with Node.js, Kafka, Azure Cloud, Vue.js, JavaScript

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and delivery leadership across_multiple Scrum teams
• Serve as go-to technical leader for complex issues
• Partner with architects, software engineers, product teams, SRE, security, and other technology teams
• Identify and remove technical and organizational obstacles and drive complex issues to resolution
• Provide hands-on technical guidance on architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud technologies, and engineering practices
• Drive alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and technology strategy
• Champion AI-assisted engineering tools to improve developer productivity and quality
• Encourage teams to use AI responsibly across the software lifecycle
• Drive continuous improvement, modernization, automation, debt reduction, reliability and ops excellence
• Communicate effectively with teams, partners, external teams and leadership
