Job summary

Citi in New York seeks a senior coverage banker to originate and expand relationships with Tech sector clients in the U.S. market, serving as Citi's primary representative and trusted advisor.

You will lead development and execution of client strategies to strengthen Citi's wallet across the client’s financial needs. The role requires deep industry expertise, senior executive engagement, and the ability to drive revenue growth while managing risk through collaboration with Corporate Banking,

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Corporate or Investment Banking.
• Proven success managing complex corporate relationships and multi-product revenue growth.
• Deep knowledge of corporate banking products, credit, capital markets, liquidity management and risk tools.
• Strong understanding of industry dynamics and strategic challenges.
• Proven track record mentoring senior executives and leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute client coverage strategies for a portfolio of corporate clients.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with CEOs, CFOs, Treasurers and other executives.
• Lead proactive client planning to grow wallet share and deepen product penetration.
• Coordinate coverage across Corporate Banking, Markets, Services, Treasury & Trade Solutions, Investment Banking and other partners.
• Develop industry expertise and monitor sector trends, regulatory changes and opportunities.
• Identify opportunities related to strategic events such as acquisitions and capital decisions.
• Mobilize product specialists to deliver tailored solutions addressing evolving client needs.
• Manage portfolio profitability and risk-adjusted returns in partnership with Risk and Product teams.
• Drive revenue, client engagement and governance while maintaining risk controls.
• Foster collaboration across Citi’s global network for consistent coverage.
• Mentor and develop junior bankers; strengthen franchise.
