Job summary

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking seeks a Vice President in Investment Banking Coverage focused on the Tech sector in New York. You will lead origination and execution of complex transactions, while building and managing client relationships and driving new business opportunities.

You will mentor analysts and associates, oversee financial models and client materials, and coordinate deal processes to meet milestones and timelines. Travel may be required based on deal needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or equivalent required.
• 6+ years in Corporate Finance as a Coverage Banker for Tech sector.
• MBA preferred.
• Strong leadership, client relationship management, and negotiation skills.
• Proven transaction execution experience in investment banking.
• Advanced technical and strategic advisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead origination and execution of M&A, Capital Markets, and Advisory transactions.
• Manage day-to-day deal processes, ensuring milestones and timelines are met.
• Oversee development and quality control of financial models and client materials.
• Serve as primary client contact on deal execution matters.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with senior bankers.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Analysts and Associates.
• Travel as requested by senior deal team or clients.
