Job summary

Airbnb seeks a Senior Manager, Technical Brand & Content to own the editorial engine for Airbnb Tech Blog, coaching engineer-authors and editing to a high bar. You will publish posts through legal, security and comms reviews while setting a reliable publishing rhythm across the organization.

You will drive cross-team narratives, connecting work from multiple teams into cohesive storylines and publish them as connected sets.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in technical content, developer relations, engineering communications or technical editorial.
• Editorial judgment and hands-on craft for engineering voices.
• Influence without authority to drive senior-level contributions.
• Program discipline across events, budgets and vendors.
• Measurement literacy connecting brand work to funnel outcomes.
• Judgment on risk: navigate legal and security reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own the editorial engine and run the Airbnb Tech Blog end to end.
• Identify cross-team narratives and publish connected sets.
• Help engineers develop public presence through bylines and talks.
• Own distribution and establish Airbnb-owned canonical home and social strategy.
• Lead conference/event strategy and academic collaborations and manage budgets/vendors.
• Steward open source presence and ensure public claims are accurate.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to connect work to hiring outcomes.
