Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Carmel, IN seeks a senior leader to drive delivery of retail, securities and insurance products. You will coach licensed bankers, lead sales performance, and ensure regulatory compliance across Retail and Brokerage channels.

The role emphasizes risk management, training, and collaboration with Retail leadership to meet growth targets while upholding Fifth Third policies. Ability to travel and oversee licensing is required.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience required.
• Series SIE, 7, 66, 24, and insurance licenses required.
• 7+ years’ experience in a sales environment and financial industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Retail and Brokerage policies and procedures to lead and supervise the licensed banker population.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, excellent presentation skills, and strong PC skills.
• Must be able to collaboratively work in a team environment with subordinates, peers and upper management.
• SAFE Act registration via NMLS required.
• Willingness to travel and complete consultative selling skills certification as prescribed.

Responsibilities

• Consistently coach assigned Relat ionship Managers/Advisors using consultative sales skills to identify client needs and recommend solutions.
• Provide sales management direction to Retail Licensed Bankers within Fifth Third Securities to ensure performance levels are met.
• Inspect documentation and reporting to manage the team including household reports, FNA, credit queues and dashboards.
• Develop collaborative relationships with Retail leadership and partners to assess financial needs of customers.
• Facilitate educational updates for Licensed Bankers via seminars, calls, meetings, or online offerings.
• Manage the licensing process for licensed bankers in the territory in conjunction with Licensing Programs Manager.
• Participate in new licensed banker onboarding and coursework completion.
• Maintain knowledge of investment products distributed through the Retail channel.
• Oversee supervisory duties within the assigned territory.
