Arizona Department of Revenue in Tucson is seeking a Taxpayer Service Representative 4 to serve as top-tier information resource for taxpayers, delivering accurate tax guidance and triaging escalations. The role combines in-person, live chat, and email support.

You will interpret tax laws, process forms for personal and corporate taxes, and continuously improve service quality through knowledge updates and Lean principles. Remote work is available within Arizona up to three days weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service or related role preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of tax rules and procedures.
• Ability to navigate web and chat platforms.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level information to taxpayers in person, by live chat, and email.
• Research tax laws and policies to advise taxpayers.
• Process tax forms for income, corporate, transaction privilege, and other taxes.
• Document interactions and escalate issues to management.
• Educate taxpayers on registration and use of the department website.
