Job summary

The Arizona Department of Revenue's Taxpayer Information & Assistance team seeks a Taxpayer Service Representative 4 in Tucson. You will be the highest-tier contact for in-person and online taxpayers, delivering expert guidance on tax questions and triaging to management as needed.

This hybrid role involves 3 days in-office with 3 weeks of in-office training, and offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement within the Division of Taxpayer Services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years customer service experience.
• Experience in a high production environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with tax concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level information to taxpayers via in-person, live chat, and email.
• Interpret tax law and policies and advise taxpayers accordingly.
• Document interactions and escalate issues to management when needed.
• Assist with registration and use of the department’s website.
