Job summary

BOK Financial in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Tax to lead federal, state, and bank regulatory tax accounting and compliance, including ASC 740, tax research, and special projects such as mergers and acquisitions. This role requires expert knowledge of tax compliance and accounting, as well as team leadership to meet tight filing deadlines.

You will manage a tax team, develop policies, oversee notices and audits, and ensure timely filings under GAAP and tax rules.

Qualifications

CPA certification and 10+ years in corporate tax or public accounting (tax) environment including 5+ years in a supervisory capacity.
Master’s degree with a minimum of 30 hours concentrated in accounting and related studies.
Strong knowledge of municipal, state, and federal income tax laws and regulations.
Experience with mergers and acquisitions and tax audits.

Responsibilities

Manage federal, state, bank regulatory, and ASC 740 tax accounting and compliance.
Oversee tax research, planning, and special projects such as mergers and acquisitions.
Lead tax notices and audits and supervise tax processes to meet deadlines.
Develop and implement tax policies and procedures; mentor staff.
Recruit, develop, and retain top accounting talent within the tax team.
