Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Lead Software Engineer, Tax Product Development to design and deliver complex tax product features. You will own end-to-end delivery, define requirements and architecture, and collaborate across global teams in a hybrid work environment.

You will mentor engineers, drive code quality, and ensure compliance with IT and security standards while aligning software with business goals and strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required or preferred.
• Six+ years of hands-on experience with web-based apps in Microsoft stack (C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JS frameworks).
• Experience designing CI/CD/DevOps pipelines and Azure-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leads design and implementation of major systems and features within an Agile team focused on tax solutions.
• Designs, develops, and tests software using web and cloud technologies for tax products.
• Applies modern software engineering principles throughout the lifecycle for tax-related applications.
• Reviews business requirements for technical feasibility and collaborates with teams to deliver quality tax software.
