Job summary

Match Group is seeking a Senior Associate, Tax Reporting & Compliance to lead ASC 740 tax provisions and federal/state tax filings for the U.S. and various foreign jurisdictions.

The role supports accuracy in tax accounting, disclosures, and related estimated tax payments. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, 3–5 years of tax experience, and strong skills in analytics, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Master's degree in Tax preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of tax experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and OneSource Tax Provision or equivalent tax provision software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
• Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions (ASC 740) including deferred tax assets/liabilities, valuation allowances and effective tax rate reconciliations.
• Prepare and review assigned federal and state income tax compliance, including estimated payments and supporting workpapers.
• Review assigned foreign income tax return filings and the associated return to provision calculations.
• Follow, maintain, and document accounting- and compliance-related internal controls and procedures in accordance with SOX 404 guidelines.
• Stay current on tax laws, rules, regulations, and accounting pronouncements impacting Match Group.
• Support tax audits and appeals, as necessary.
• Prepare and maintain deferred tax accounts.
• Analyze tax records and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
