Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs.

You’ll provide advanced tax training with an expert team and help clients make confident financial decisions by conducting tax interviews, preparing returns, and offering IRS support. You’ll interview clients face-to-face or virtually, complete and review returns, and seek opportunities to grow the business while maintaining high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex tax returns preferable.
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face or through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
