H&R Block, Inc. seeks a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and deliver advanced tax training. You’ll interview clients virtually or in person, prepare returns, and help grow the client base while supporting teammates.

This role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and building trusted relationships. Ideal candidates bring a CPA/EA credential or progress toward one, plus 5+ years in tax or related fields, and comfort using virtual tools to engage clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
