Job summary

Crux, a leading clean-energy capital platform, seeks a Senior Manager for Tax/Preferred Equity. You will model tax equity and preferred structures, lead opportunities from intake to closing, and collaborate across teams to drive transactions in renewables and energy infrastructure.

You will guide Associates, leverage AI-enabled workflows, and coordinate due diligence with cross-functional teams to deliver robust investment analyses and client-ready materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or MS a plus.
• 4+ years in renewable energy or structured finance with tax equity and/or preferred equity experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills; VBA or Python a plus; strong tax equity and/or preferred equity knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and audit tax/preferred equity models, incl. partnership flip and hybrid structures.
• Lead screening and underwriting of opportunities and develop pricing/structuring recommendations.
• Prepare investment materials for IC, including economics, sensitivities, and risk analyses.
• Coordinate due diligence across commercial/technical/legal/tax workstreams and engage with clients.
