Job summary

EY is seeking a senior tax operations leader to drive data-driven information reporting and accounting for customers in the financial services sector. You will oversee the CTORS team handling NRA withholding, FATCA, and other tax reporting engagements for domestic and international clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields from accredited institution.
• CPA/EA or attorney status required or preferred.
• 8+ years of operational delivery experience in tax/tax operations.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and manage deadlines.
• Strong analytical, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and tax accounting systems.
• Experience drafting business requirements and process diagrams.
• Change management and process-improvement experience.
• Leadership experience and ability to develop teams.

• Strong computational and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the tax operations team and manage data preparation, aggregation, reporting, and filings.
• Oversee the team, provide leadership visibility, and drive on-time deliverables.
• Monitor workload, quality, and overtime; manage client expectations.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation of processes.
• Ensure standardized processes and facilitate team training.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and manage engagement risk.
• Understand business financials to ensure budget adherence.
• Collaborate with domestic and international delivery teams.
• Lead multiple engagements/workstreams and coach team members.
• Travel up to 20% as required.
