Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Tax Operations Leader to guide the Customer Tax Operations and Reporting team in handling NRA withholding, FATCA, and other tax information reporting across financial services. You will lead data preparation, reporting and client interactions while driving efficiency and quality.

You will manage a high-performing team, ensure adherence to budgets, and collaborate with domestic and international delivery leads in a flexible hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics
• A minimum of 8+ years of operational delivery experience
• CPA, EA, or licensed attorney
• Ability to prioritize, handle and track multiple assignments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong data analysis capabilities
• Ability to draft/design business requirements, process flow diagrams and rules matrices
• Change management, operations and process improvement experience
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities and actively engage in implementing improvements
• Demonstrated leadership skills and proven skills in developing employees
• Strong oral and written communication as well as presentation skills
• Excellent trouble shooting, execution and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Proficient using Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Power Point, Proficiency in tax accounting systems

Responsibilities

• Lead the tax operations team and manage data preparation, aggregation, and reporting
• Coordinate day-to-day client interactions and monitor KPIs across work streams
• Drive on-time delivery and manage engagement economics
• Oversee risks and ensure standardized tax operation processes
• Coach and develop team members and support audits as needed
