Job summary

EY is seeking a senior Tax Operations leader to oversee data preparation, reporting, and filings within the EY EDGE practice. You will manage a cross-functional team delivering NRA withholding and reporting, FATCA, and other tax operations for financial services clients across the US and globally.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in operational delivery, CPAs/EAs or attorneys, and strong leadership, analytics, and process-improvement skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• Minimum 8+ years of operational delivery experience.
• CPA, EA, or licensed attorney.
• Ability to prioritize, handle and track multiple assignments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to draft/design business requirements, process flow diagrams and rules matrices.
• Change management, operations and process improvement experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to develop employees.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and people management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; proficiency in tax accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the tax operations team and manage data preparation, aggregation, reporting, filings, and related activities.
• Coordinate day-to-day interactions with clients and monitor KPIs across workstreams.
• Ensure standardized processes and provide training as needed.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation of processes.
• Manage engagement economics and risk, driving on-time delivery.
