Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Tax Operations professional to join our team in New York or Menlo Park. You will execute exception reports, support tax inquiries from Customer Experience and Account Operations, and develop reconciliations and dashboards to improve tax reporting across equity and crypto transactions.

You will drive tax projects for new product launches and promotions, collaborate with product, project and engineering teams, and help streamline data flows with internal systems and vendors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field.
• 3–5+ years of work experience in tax, accounting, and/or operations.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and drive projects to completion in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, project, and engineering teams to launch, improve, and scale Robinhood products and systems.
• Contribute to and track tax‑related projects such as new product launches and promotions.
• Help Customer Experience and Account Operations teams handle tax inquiries and resolve reporting, withholding, cost basis, retirement account, and crypto tax issues.
• Develop and assist with reconciliations of data between internal systems and vendors and verify data sent from the tax reporting vendor to the IRS.
• Execute exception reports on reporting, withholding, and cost basis while implementing internal policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain dashboards for metrics and checklists to manage workflows and improve team functions and customer experience.
• Work with various Robinhood entities and departments to streamline data flow and automate processes where possible.
