Job summary

BDO USA's Private Client Services team seeks a Tax Senior Manager to lead complex tax engagements for high net‑worth individuals and families. You will oversee planning, reviews, and client communications, serving as the primary contact for issues and resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics required.
• Seven years or more experience in accounting, finance, or law required.
• Experience in the private client service area and supervisory experience preferred.
• CPA/EA/Attorney or equivalent credential required.
• Proficient in MS Office and tax software tools.

Responsibilities

• Manages tax and consulting engagements and identifies client needs, planning, and opportunities.
• Acts as primary client contact for preparation and presentation of issues and resolutions.
• Reviews complex returns for individuals, trusts, estates, S‑Corp, foundations, partnerships, and gifts with feedback.
• Directs communication with government agencies on high‑complexity matters.
• Conducts advanced tax research and develops recommendations for PCS leadership and clients.
• Leads client engagements and contributes to business development and relationship building.
